Valves with sealing bellows

A distinctive feature of rising stem control valves is that they have a critical external leakage point precisely at the dynamic stem-packing seal.

To minimize leakage in this area, a bellows seal can be used, optionally in combination with single or double packings, which act as a safety backup in case of bellows failure.

Bellows seals are particularly suitable for applications involving lethal, toxic, or especially costly fluids.
