RADIAL DESUPERHEATERS WITH SPRING NOZZLES

Radial DSH with spring nozzles are suitable for medium or large attenuation flows needed to reach the target.

The water flow to be injected is controlled by a separate dedicated control valve.

The nozzles are mounted on a ring structure that surrounds the steam pipe, and the water is injected radially towards the center of the pipe itself.

All nozzles normally receive water from a single manifold.

Configurations requiring a significant water flow can include up to 6 nozzles, with the possibility to customize parameters such as CV, stroke, and set point to perfectly adapt to specific application requirements and requested performance.

The advanced nozzle design allows the water to be rotated at a velocity that provides a fine atomization that assures rapid evaporation of the cooling water.
